Latest DVD Reviews: Peter and Blood Creek

Before I depart to enjoy Halloween weekend in all it's glory, I thought I'd share with you two DVD reviews recently written for Chris and Phil Present.

The first is Peter: A Portrait Of A Serial Killer - the first feature film made about the Yorkshire Ripper, Peter Sutcliffe. If docu-dramas on some of the country's most notorious serial killers are your thing, then you will be pleasantly surprised by Peter, which successfully mixes archive footage and media reports with reenactments of key scenes in his life.

Up next is Blood Creek - Occult horror starring Michael Fassbender, Dominic Purcell and Henry Cavill. With the tagline " In the early ’40s, Adolf Hitler believed the occult held the secret of immortality. Almost a century later the nightmare has awakened…", who wouldn't want to see this ridiculous, gory, Nazi movie?!
